When the key is inserted and the interior lights are on no button work's in the car, just the hazard lights. She's just dead. The things that work on the car are the following: 1. interior lights 2. headlights light up 3. radio When I insert the remote control into the slot and i press twice the start/stop button only the headlight's light up.
Will try it in the morning. I did call BMW connected Drive Dept. 1-888-333-6118 option 1. that resulted in one reboot, no joy, and a ticket being started. The IT department has up to 7 days to get it fixed for me. I did have someone tell me other Canadians were having issues too.

Sounds like the CCC is freaking out, try resetting it. Press the eject buttons of the CD and DVD at the same time press the volume button (long button to the left of the CD player). That resets the CCC, if that doesn't work try disconnecting the battery for 30-60 mins (enough that the computers fully go to sleep and reset themselves).

To activate the BMW Drive Recorder for the first time go to your iDrive menu: Select ‘Apps’. Enter ‘Installed apps’. Choose ‘Drive Recorder’. Accept the legal disclaimer. In ‘Settings’ check ‘Recording allowed’. Set up the recording length before and after the trigger.
My car had a PUMA software upgrade that BMW suggested to the dealer would fix the problem. Well, 10 days later the iDrive screen goes out again! I still don't have the audio levels for the Aux input corrected either. I was promised the Dealer would start a PUMA case but I haven't heard anything.

Try pressing your iDrive controller, if you turned it off accidentally, it should come online. If not, either your CCC has failed or your display screen is broke. Replacing the CCC is quite expensive. Try to take a step by step approach to fixing it rather than replacing the whole unit in 1 go.

The power lift gate seems to have developed a mind of it's own. It can't decide when the rear door is closed; power latch motor moves the door in and out slightly without provocation, interior light comes on, chimes at every stop, rear trunk cover releases when the car is put in reverse, etc. The BMW tech bulletins point to the rear door latch
